Michelle teaches in the History, Law and Society program at the American University of Paris (AUP). Previously, she has taught at the Prison University Project at San Quentin Prison, an alternative school in Helena, Arkansas, and as a teaching fellow in Professor Michael Sandel's course "Justice" at Harvard College. Michelle was a finalist for the Sue Lehmann Teaching Award and was awarded the Certificate of Distinction from the Derek Bok Teaching Center at Harvard. In 2016 she received the Board of Trustees Award for Distinguished Teaching at AUP.
